Volleyball Recap: Mildred Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

While Mildred didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Axtell Longhorns on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Mildred not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Axtell between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Mildred's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Axtell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Mildred and Axtell will both be playing Ector the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
