Basketball Recap: Tomball Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Maddie Caldwell and Mallory Lehmann

Tomball has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 36-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tomball Memorial Wildcats on Friday. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Tomball had strong showings from Mallory Lehmann, who posted ten points, and Maddie Caldwell, who earned four points and six rebounds.

Tomball's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Tomball Memorial, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-5.

Tomball didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-25 victory against Magnolia on the 28th. Tomball Memorial has also already played their next game, a 58-40 win against Magnolia West on the 28th.
