Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors 64-17. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Burnham out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Burnham is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Kenna Overton was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Trinity Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in 12 consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Finney posted nine points.

Trinity Christian's record is now 24-5. As for Faith Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-13 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 8th. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against New Bern Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
