Basketball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton and North Greene squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Carrollton had to settle for second. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Greene Spartans. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 51-40.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 17-14. As for North Greene, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-17.

Carrollton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Greene, they will head out to take on Greenfield/Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield/Northwestern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season.
