Basketball Recap: Poway Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Poway suffered their closest loss since January 31st on Saturday. They fell just short of the Madison Warhawks by a score of 59-56. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 66-59 to the Warhawks when the teams met back in January of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Runnar(rj) Miller produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds for Madison. The contest was Miller's fifth in a row with at least 19 points. Caleb Gleason was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 15 points and five boards.

Poway's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Madison, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Poway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-49 victory against Mt. Carmel on the 2nd. As for Madison, they have also already played their next game, an 84-46 win against Escondido Charter on the 8th.
