Rogers fell victim to Red Bay and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pirates have suffered since March 21, 2024.

Rogers saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Curtis Campbell, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Campbell is becoming a predictor of the Pirates' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 3-1 (and 11-13 when he doesn't).

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Red Bay, their win was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Rogers will host Hatton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Bay, they will face off against Hackleburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
