It was a good run, but Niles Notre Dame unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Saint Viator Lions 52-47. The Dons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Niles Notre Dame's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Saint Viator, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Niles Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-35 win against Bulls College Prep on the 9th. As for Saint Viator, they will face off against Nazareth Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nazareth Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season.
