Bolton Central and Crown Point are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bolton Central will be strutting in after a win while Crown Point will be coming in after a defeat.

Bolton Central's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over Johnsburg Central.

Not much got past Jaxon Egloff, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Johnsburg Central off the board. Egloff has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jacob French was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Ryan Roemer was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Crown Point lost 15-2 to Chazy on April 9th.

Bolton Central's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3-1. As for Crown Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Bolton Central might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Crown Point in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
