Volleyball Recap: Robstown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Robstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors & Cherokees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Tuloso-Midway found their leader in sophomore Ariella Esquivel, who had five digs and four aces. Esquivel has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Robstown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Tuloso-Midway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Robstown is set to face off against their familiar foe King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tuloso-Midway will take on rival Zapata at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
