Basketball Recap: Foran's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Foran won the last time they faced Hand, and Faith Doyle did her part to make sure it happened again. The Foran Lions took down the Hand Tigers 50-32 on Tuesday thanks in part to Doyle, who went 8 for 14 en route to 22 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Foran's points.

Another player making a difference was Ava Deitelbaum, who posted four points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave her a new career-high.

Foran's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-4. As for Hand, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foran will host Branford at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Hand, they will be playing at home against Guilford at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
