Volleyball Recap: Lincoln West Takes a Loss

Lincoln West and Bard Early College squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lincoln West had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Raptors. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-20.

Alonso Ezell had an outrageously good game for Bard Early College as he had 19 digs and four aces. What's more, Ezell posted five assists, the most he's had over his last five games.

Lincoln West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bard Early College, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Lincoln West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bard Early College, they will challenge Chardon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Raptors surely won't give up without a fight.
