Softball Recap: Palatine Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Palatine's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Barrington Fillies/Broncos on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Fillies/Broncos: they've now lost nine in a row.

Palatine's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Barrington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Coincidentally, Palatine and Barrington will both be playing Conant the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Cougars at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Fillies/Broncos will host them at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
