Basketball Recap: French Settlement Victorious

French Settlement's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Doyle Tigers out 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since February 2nd.

French Settlement has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Doyle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the French Settlement Lions challenge the East St. John Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Doyle, they will be home for the holidays to greet Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
