Thomasville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Brooks County Trojans to the tune of 35-7. With the Bulldogs ahead 25-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Thomasville had a senior duo take command as Cam Hill rushed for 67 yards and two TDs on only nine carries and Lavonte Cole rushed for 82 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Thomasville proved: they limited Brooks County to a paltry 0.3 yards per carry. While three picked up at least five total tackles, Zay Clark stood above the rest. He picked up four sacks and made five total tackles (5.0 for loss).
