Jersey had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 7-11-1  on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Collinsville Kahoks  a   13-0 shutout. That looming  13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this  season.
 Anna Kribs and  Maleah Derrick did most of the damage at the plate:  Kribs  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Derrick  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  Derrick has posted since back in May of 2024.  Holly Brainerd was another key player,  earning one  RBI and three  runs.
 Jersey  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
As for Collinsville, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record  this season. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 On Collinsville's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brittany Sarginson, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jersey will venture away from home to  face off against Highland  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak. As for Collinsville, they are taking a road trip to  take on East St. Louis  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Flyers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.57  runs per game on average), something the Kahoks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
