Football Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Picks Up 11th Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Immaculata-La Salle had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-7 win over the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions. The Royal Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 31 points or more this season.

Leading Immaculata-La Salle to victory were Adrian Cox and Tyrone Williams. Cox rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only ten carries, while Williams picked up 88 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 55 yards.

Immaculata-La Salle's defense stepped up as well, laying out Aron Whitfield five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. Jayden Noel was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making ten total tackles, and defending one pass.

The victory keeps Immaculata-La Salle at an undefeated 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.2 points on average this season. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
