Baseball Game Preview: Evansville Memorial Tigers vs. Castle Knights

The Evansville Memorial Tigers will take on the Castle Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Evansville Memorial 2.4, Castle 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Evansville Memorial took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over South Spencer. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Castle entered their tilt with North Posey on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings, sneaking past 5-3.

Evansville Memorial pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Castle, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
