Monsignor Pace scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Coral Springs Charter Panthers by a score of 51-49. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in December of 2014.

Monsignor Pace's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamaal Gibson, Jr, who posted 17 points and six steals. That's the most points Gibson, Jr has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Easton Gelin, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Monsignor Pace's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Coral Springs Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Monsignor Pace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-59 win against Piper on the 28th. As for Coral Springs Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-52 victory against Gulf Coast on the 28th.
