Baseball Recap: South Summit Falls Short of Morgan in the Playoffs

South Summit and Morgan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but South Summit had to settle for second. They lost 20-8 to the Trojans. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brody Larsen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ian Mair, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

South Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Morgan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither South Summit nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
