Baseball Recap: Northeast Gets the Win

The Northeast Eagles beat the Gallatin Green Wave 6-3 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Northeast saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Meece, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Cameron Skaggs was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Northeast will be playing at home against Jo Byrns at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gallatin, they are taking a road trip to face off against Green Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
