Wylie East waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Abilene Eagles.
Isabella Flores made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in hits (zero). She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
