Recap: Fairhaven Blue Devils vs. Seekonk Warriors
The Fairhaven Blue Devils suffered their closest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Seekonk by a score of 46-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fairhaven in their matchups with Seekonk: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Noah Beausoleil, who scored 17 points for Seekonk. Another player making a difference was Travis Pereira, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Fairhaven bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Seekonk, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairhaven will square off against West Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Bridgewater has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Seekonk, they will head out on the road to square off against Apponequet Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
