It was a good run, but East Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the North Central Wolfpack who were credited with the victory. The North Central Wolfpack got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the East Valley Knights' two. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, East Valley's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for North Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Looking ahead, East Valley will head out on the road to square off against Pullman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pullman will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something East Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Central, they will be playing at home against Deer Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central will be up against Deer Park's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
