Holy Cross had won four straight road games and Aaron Garcia did his part to make it five on Tuesday. The Holy Cross Knights walked away with a 57-47 win over the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats thanks in part to Garcia, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 23 times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Nick Herrera, who posted five points. What's more, he also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

The victory got Holy Cross back to even at 14-14. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing John Paul II the next time they take the court. Holy Cross will host John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while New Braunfels Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
