After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Daphne, Beauregard was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Smiths Station Panthers 5-4. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Beauregard pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Smiths Station, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beauregard will square off against Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smiths Station, they will challenge Spanish Fort at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Toros' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
