Indiana senior Alan Karrfalt selected as MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week

Covington High School standout threw for 485 yards with five touchdown passes in win over Fountain Central.

Senior quarterback Alan Karrfalt of Covington (Ind.) is this week's MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week.

In a convincing 48-12 victory over Fountain Central, the senior standout completed 40 of 58 passes for 485 yards and five touchdowns. Karrfalt also ran for a score.

For the season, Karrfalt has thrown for 1,745 yards and 19 touchdowns (against just three interceptions) in just four games, leading Covington to a 3-1 record.

Karrfalt and the Trojans will take the field next Sept. 17 against Seeger.
