East Central has gone 8-2 against Clemens recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will face off against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Saturday just wasn't the day for East Central's offense. They lost 6-0 to Warren on Saturday.

East Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JD Vargas, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Clemens came up short against La Vernia on Friday and fell 5-1.

Clemens' defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5. As for East Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

East Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Clemens in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
