Baseball Recap: Maxwell Comes Up Short

Maxwell lost against Quincy on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 8-7. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maxwell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yahir Alcaraz, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Maxwell's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Quincy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Maxwell has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Hamilton on the 6th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Williams on the 9th.
