Basketball Game Preview: International Panthers vs. Fisher Gators

The International Panthers will face off against the Fisher Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. International has insisted on making their lastfive contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-5 during that stretch of close contests.

It was a proper cat-fight when International took on Varnado on Saturday. International fell just short of Varnado by a score of 2-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Fisher, as they earned their first road win of the season. They pulled ahead with a 51-50 photo finish over New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy on Wednesday. The 51-point effort marked the Gators' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Fisher has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for International, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
