Kody Martinez Game Report: @ Eustace

For the first time in his career, Kody Martinez scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 36 yards and one touchdown, helping propel Mount Vernon past Eustace by a score of 55-0. We think that's the best game he's posted since last Friday, when he made seven total tackles and defended one pass.

Looking ahead, Martinez and Mount Vernon will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rains at 7:30 p.m. The Wildcats will enter the matchup having just beaten Eustace, so the Tigers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
