Softball Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Prairie was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Potlatch Loggers. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Loggers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Prairie dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Potlatch, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Prairie will venture away from home to face off against Genesee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Potlatch, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Colfax on the 5th.
