Enochs has gone 9-1 against Modesto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Enochs Eagles will challenge the Modesto Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Enochs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Enochs barely beat Downey the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Enochs' way against Downey on Thursday as Enochs made off with a 10-0 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Enochs got a great performance from Soraya Mendoza as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Mendoza has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Camila Ramirez Quintana was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Taylor Silva also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Enochs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Downey only posted a batting average of .167.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Modesto's offense. They came up short against Gregori on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost nine in a row.
Enochs' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Modesto, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Enochs hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Modesto struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Enochs was able to grind out a solid victory over Modesto when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Enochs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
