Basketball Recap: Desta Rose's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Logan over Fort Sumner/House

After flying high against Grady last Wednesday, Logan came back down to earth. The Logan Longhorns took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Sumner/House on Friday. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with Fort Sumner/House recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Several Longhorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Desta Rose, who posted 18 points along with five boards and four steals. Rose's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Williams, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Fort Sumner/House, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Logan nor Fort Sumner/House have any future games scheduled.
