Basketball Recap: Marengo Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marengo can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 55-38 to the Southern Choctaw Indians. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

Marengo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Southern Choctaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Marengo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southern Choctaw, they will take on Brantley on Wednesday.
