Football Recap: Missisquoi Valley Takes a Loss

Missisquoi Valley fell victim to Spaulding and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Crimson Tide. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Crimson Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Missisquoi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spaulding, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Looking ahead, Missisquoi Valley will host Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Spaulding, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mt. Abraham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 6.7 points per game this season, so the Crimson Tide's offense will have their work cut out for them.
