Western Boone had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clinton Central Bulldogs by a score of 52-43. That's more bragging rights for the Stars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Western Boone's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Hawkins, who went 5 of 10 en route to 19 points and four steals. Hawkins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Quinn Westerfeld was another key player, putting up 17 points and seven rebounds.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Clinton Central, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Boone will challenge Seeger at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seeger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. As for Clinton Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
