Volleyball Recap: Blue Valley Rams vs. Valley Heights Mustangs

Blue Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Valley Heights Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Lydia Dumler paced Blue Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Dumler got some help from Allie Dumler and her nine assists.

Blue Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-21. As for Valley Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Blue Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Clifton-Clyde on the 11th. As for Valley Heights, they will challenge Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
