Galax is a perfect 10-0 against Grayson County since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Maroon Tide are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Galax has four straight victories, Grayson County has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While Galax's win against Fort Chiswell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Maroon Tide had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 3-2 on Monday. Three seems to be a good number for Galax as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Grayson County came up short against George Wythe on Monday, falling 9-3. That's two games in a row now that Grayson County have lost by exactly six goals.

Galax's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Grayson County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Galax came out on top in a nail-biter against Grayson County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Maroon Tide have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
