Marcus had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Guyer on Tuesday. The Marauders blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Marcus walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-16.

The win got Marcus back to even at 17-17. As for Guyer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.

Marcus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Flower Mound on the 17th. As for Guyer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Little Elm on the 17th.
