Football Recap: Pennsbury Takes a Loss

Pennsbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Bucks West Bucks. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Bucks are ranked 42nd).

Pennsbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Central Bucks West, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pennsbury is set to square off against their familiar foe North Penn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Central Bucks West will face off against rival Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bucks 14.9, the Rams 14) so any points scored will be well earned.
