High Tech CV is 2-7 against Castle Park since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bruins will welcome the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. High Tech CV is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
High Tech CV heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crawford.

Andre Skiles was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of High Tech CV's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 6-12 when he doesn't). Skiles was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dyllin Ledezma was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. High Tech CV is 5-2 when Ledezma posts two or more runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Adrian Estrada, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Castle Park can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over High Tech Mesa. The Trojans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18th (when they won 24-0).
Xavier Melendrez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Aldo Leon was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
High Tech CV's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Castle Park, their victory bumped their record up to 7-21.
High Tech CV beat Castle Park 4-1 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
