Burns extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 13-3. They never let the Cherryville Ironmen get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cherryville fell to 15-1. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

For Cherryville's part, they got a good showing from Camden Williams, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Williams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Burns will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cherryville: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
