Talon Dalton was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Brock Bumgardner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Burns' rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand East Gaston a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
