Thompson and Vestavia Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Warriors will face off against the Rebels at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Vestavia Hills will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Thompson extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Oak Mountain.

Meanwhile, Vestavia Hills faced Huntsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rebels blew past the Panthers 3-0. The Rebels not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Vestavia Hills' win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Thompson, their victory bumped their record up to 27-10.

Thompson beat Vestavia Hills 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
