Calvert put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Old Fort Stockaders 22-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-2 two weeks ago.

Landon King was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Alijah LeMasters also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Calvert always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Old Fort only posted an OBP of .348.

Calvert's record is now 5-0. As for Old Fort, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Calvert will square off against rival Hopewell-Loudon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Old Fort is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Joseph Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
