Basketball Game Preview: Campbell vs. Monadnock Huskies

Campbell will head out on the road to square off against the Monadnock Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Campbell has five straight victories, Monadnock has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Campbell is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Raymond, who was ranked 24th at the time (Campbell was ranked fourth). Campbell strolled past Raymond with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 76-60.

Meanwhile, Monadnock came up short against Hillsboro-Deering on Tuesday, falling 58-35.

Campbell's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Monadnock, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Campbell strolled past Monadnock when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 62-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Campbell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
