Football Recap: Glenn Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Glenn had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 31-0 loss at the hands of the East Forsyth Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Eagles are ranked tenth).

Jaire Richburg had an outrageously good game for East Forsyth as he picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving yards Richburg has posted since back in October of 2024. Craig McGhee was another key player, rushing for 85 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Coming up, Glenn will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on R.J. Reynolds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Forsyth, they will venture away from home to face off against Northern Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
