Fisher barely beat Maurepas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Fisher Gators' way against the Maurepas Wolves on Saturday as the Fisher Gators made off with a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Fisher is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. Maurepas' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Fisher will square off against Benjamin Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Fisher's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Benjamin Franklin has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Maurepas, they will challenge False River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
