Soccer Game Preview: Watsonville vs. Archbishop Mitty

The Watsonville Wildcatz will venture away from home to face off against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Watsonville's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Watsonville is headed into the matchup having not lost since December 4 and will look to keep things rolling. They skirted past North Monterey County 2-1.

Anthony Guido and Damian Mora scored both of Watsonville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Mitty kept a clean sheet against Cardinal Newman last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 1-0. The result kept the Monarchs happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

The victory got Watsonville back to even at 1-1-4. As for Archbishop Mitty, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-2.
