Volleyball Recap: South Sevier Finds Home Court Redemption Against Beaver

There's no place like home for South Sevier, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Beaver Beavers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

While South Sevier might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Beaver scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.

Kinsey Parsons paced South Sevier's offense, picking up 29 kills. Parsons got some help from Cooperlynne Green and her 46 assists. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Sevier now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Beaver, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Coming up, South Sevier will challenge Emery at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaver, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Valley on the 9th.
